Feel the spirit of ancient Russia! This tour is an unique chance to visit one of the most ancient cities of Russia and get in touch with great history of the Russia. This city was founded in 903 (or maybe earlier) as a center of Russian society as a great city of military glory from The Teutonic Order till 20th century. The second part of the tour consist of visiting Pushkin Museum-Reserve with visiting Pushkin family estate and (upon request) trying a sauna or Russian bath.
The tour is classic – that means that the tourists visit one place, spend night in hotel than move to another.
The duration of the tour is 3 days (2 nights).

Day 1

08-00 – Departure from St. Petersburg, 293 km.

Approximately at 12.30 arrival in Pskov. Visit to the Kremlin, familiarity with the Holy Trinity Cathedral, its interior and shrines icons of the main temple of the Pskov land. Moving to Old Izborsk (31 km). Visit the ancient fortress. Moving to Pechora. Tour of the Pskov-Pechora monastery of the Assumption. Departure to Pushkin Hills (138 km). Accommodation.

Day 2

09.00 – Breakfast.

Excursion to the Pushkin Museum-Reserve “Mikhailovskoye” – farmstead of Hannibal-Pushkin family, “Trigorskoye” – farmstead of the famous poet friends Osipov-Wolf’s. Dinner.

Free time. Possible to visit ecopark “Zoograd” or an excursion to the “Bugrovo”.
Dinner. Free time. The sauna, Russian bath (for additional fee).

Day 3

09.00 – Breakfast.

A visit to the estate “Petrovsky”. The owner ofthisestate was P. Hannibal – a grandfather of A. Pushkin. Excursion to the Church of the Monastery, visit to the grave A. Pushkin.

15.00 – Lunch. Departure in St. Petersburg (400 km). Arrival in St. Petersburg around 23.00.
